Long Day

Some days, I have to work hard to come up with things for my happy list.  There were many minor frustrations today that invaded even times that are generally happy.  After some choice words, I took some deep breaths and relaxed my mind enough to find options that helped.  One example is while on my walk, my phone decided that, even though I had just deleted about 1500 photos (and about 20 documents), memory was too low to take a picture.  After that deep breath, I though to restart my phone and to look for things like trash to empty.  Thankfully I was able to take a few pictures.  Other happy things for today:

  • Finding dry wood so we could have a fire outside.
  • The afternoon was overcast with flurries.  The horizon, a little before sunset, was a dark blue-gray color and above that the clouds had a light pink tone.
  • After reaching 10,000 steps I indulged in some od my favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
  • I did some weaving.

Possibly a coyote track.
Hard to tell in the snow.

People footprints.

Fire.

Ice cream!
